My name is Kerry. I am the owner of Just Add Water Florist. After attending Michigan State University and Rittner's School of Floral Design in Boston, Massachusetts I spent a few years working at a couple of flower shops in southeast Michigan. I decided to open my own neighborhood floral business in 2002 with my family. It's been a lot of hard work, but it's also fun. I have met many interesting people and enjoy using my design talents in brightening up peoples lives with beautiful arrangements and gifts. I enjoy what I do and look forward to working with you on that special arrangement.
My name is Anne. I have a degree in Biology and professional registrations in Histology and Medical Technology. After nearly a lifetime in windowless laboratories, the allure of fresh flowers and friendly faces was over whelming. Coincidently, my daughter Kerry was ready to advance her floral career. So in the summer of 2002 Kerry and I decided to open our neighborhood family business, Just Add Water Florist. If you like to tell your story, ask for me. I'll be in the office doing the books. If you need a spectacular arrangement for your party, home or office talk to one of our designers...they're the best!!!! |

Hi I'm Emily! I have been working at Just Add Water since we first opened. I went to school for floral design and have been creating beautiful arrangements ever since. As you can tell from some of the selections on the website, I enjoy making arrangements that are very colorful. That is why one of the designs is called "Emily's Choice." I also enjoy designing with tropical flowers like Allium, orchids and birds of paradise. The next time that you are in the store, ask for me and I'll help you pick out something perfect! |

Hi!...My name is Amanda. I have been a floral designer and wedding consultant at Just Add Water Florist since we opened in 2002. I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) with a degree in merchandising management. I decided to get involved with floral design after taking two classes at MSU. I loved working with flowers and wanted to learn more. I have learned so much about floral design from our owner Kerry. She took a chance on me and I will always be grateful. I have also taken classes at the Professional Education Center at the Michigan Floral Association in Haslett, Michigan to further my education and keep up with the current styles. Since we opened I have been creating floral arrangements and memorable events for many of the residents of Bloomfield Hills and its surrounding communities. My work has been featured in such publications as Hour Detroit, Flowers Magazine and numerous weddings and special events such as the Ryder Cup. Ask for me the next time you stop in.
